What shall we do to have a very high chance of passing the Life in the UK Test according to the Handbook?
After studying and understanding content of the Handbook and after making lots of test, we should book the test finally.
Before the test day, Handbook advises that we should have a good night sleep and in the morning, a good breakfast to keep our concentration high.
It reminds me of advices given by my Granny many years ago.
It is better to arrive at the test centre earlier than appointed time because each test taker must be registered by centre stuff and it takes some time too.
If I am late I won’t be allowed to take the test.
And obviously I will loose the money and I will be obliged to book teh test again.
I won’t be allowed to take any belonging with me to the test, not even a watch.
Test centre will supply me with a locker to put my things in and also with computer, which I will use to deal with the test.
There will be a little time to get used to the software by answering few practice questions.
Each applicant will start his or hers test individually.
There will be the test supervisor responsible for checking the beginning of my test.
The test cannot start until I say “I am ready”.
Test takes 45 minutes.
The questions and answers will be read to me and I will use special equipment to hear and answer the questions.
I will be allowed to change my answers, if I want, any time during the test.
If I have a good fortune to pass the test, I will be given a “unique reference number”
This number will be necessary for me to complete my citizenship application as Home Office will use it to check if I’ve passed the test.
If I fail and don’t pass, I can book another test and pay for it again.
Also I will need to wait no less than seven days to take another test.
These are information which I found in the handbook and I’ve also double check details using Home Office website.
I’ve already checked that there are over 30 test centres in the UK, some quite close to area I live in London.
