Living in London – My first time ever in Madame Tussauds.

I do not like to follow crowds and definitely I am not fond of super tourist places in London.
It is much better after pandemic with lesser amount of tourists crowding London streets.
Sometimes I have the feeling that streets are constantly full of people here, no matter if it is a week day or a weekend.
I had never been in Madame Tussauds before but I was dragged there by my colleague from work some time ago.
She got free tickets from somewhere and because her husband preferred to go fishing, I was asked to accompany her.
So I went.

It was in general rather boring to look at wax figures of celebrities which I mostly do not like at all.
The only stuff I did like were severed wax heads of French revolutionaries …it was satisfying to see this awful person, Robespierre, finally finished off.

Some wax figures look really very much like originals but not that many.

I was hoping to see figures from old days like Dr Crippen and I was disappointed.
Why are people so crazy about this museum, I have no idea.
And tickets are so expensive!
I would rather spend my Saturday morning having breakfast at The Wolseley.
They serve omelette Arnold Bennett there…
It is money definitely much better spent that for a ticket to see wax work.
