I am expecting books which I had ordered some time ago from Germany.
I do need these books as soon as possible and I’ve hoped to receive my parcel today or tomorrow.
But unfortunately I will need to wait much longer because there is yet another strike of Royal Mail workers.

It is all about long- running dispute over pay and conditions.
These strikes started in Summer and couple of my parcels had never been delivered…they went missing.
No letters were delivered today.
Not only Royal Mail workers but also UK railways and London Underground workers go on strike pretty often this year causing misery for commuters, including me.
A general discontent and depressing vibes caused by war in Ukraine and lack of stability mark this year.
My company also experienced difficulties as we have delays in deliveries of raw material, prices are going up & up and amount of clients willing to buy is also much smaller than last year
than last year.
Clients say they must be very careful with their spending.
I am also very careful with my spending and also there is not much to spend as salaries are stagnant while prices are getting higher and higher.
There is no chance we will get rise of salary in near future as far as I can see.
Maybe we also should go on strike?
I have never participated in strike action before.
As long as I have work and salary, I can go into “crisis” mode and simply stop buying anything excpet basics.
I’ve done that before.
It was not pleasant but necessary thing to do.
Hopefully general situation won’t go worse.
